Matthew 25: 34-40
describes acts of mercy we are all called to do for God's children. These acts do not depend on wealth, ability, or intelligence; they are simple acts freely given and freely received by those in need.
Jesus says: "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me."
Following the guidance of Jesus, Children for a new Haiti/IAGSDev is focusing on how we can love every person and most importantly serve the needs of everyone we come in contact with. Such love for others not only glorifies God by reflecting our love for him but brings "hope for life" to every man, woman and child. Most importantly we desire to see the lives of children in Haiti change as we serve them.

OUR MISSION
Children for a new Haiti/IAGSDev is dedicated to empowering and bettering Haitian children by providing in a Christian environment for educational and physical support through our sponsorships.
GOALS
Educational
Promote education because we believe it benefits all children to develop into better thinkers, better citizens, and ultimately better parents. Education is the key to development in any society, and especially in a struggling country like Haiti. We believe education is a fundamental human right that leads to a productive future, a more fully developed mind and spirit, and a more well-rounded society as a whole.
Physical
Promote basic health care because we believe that all children deserve to thrive free of diseases which would include timely childhood vaccinations. We will encourage clean water in the community. We believe in the establishment of a basic health care through a community health center or a hospital especially in rural locations where the people in the community can receive adequate help from trained medical teams.
Promote a good balanced nutrition program where the children and the people of the community will benefit from learning about healthy eating habits, proper nutrition. A balanced diet will allow the children to be more productive in school and will help them grown healthier.
Promote any sustainable program that will provide community independence and growth. To accomplish its mission, Children for a new Haiti/IAGSDev will work with any willing individual and other organizations through a sponsorship program to help overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination have placed in a child’s path.

More than half the people in Haiti struggle to survive where 90% of the people live on less than $2 a day. These innocent children and families are all too familiar with the suffering caused by poverty which rob them of hope and threaten to steal their future.
